Why to Spend Money Eating Out

September 3rd, 2008

The price of gasoline is going down, slowly but surely, yet there are those people who are still trying to make sure that they are financially secure. This makes sense, as there are tons of things that could go wrong on any given day, and you want to make sure that you have a bit of money set aside for emergency situations. Why, then, should you consider eating out at a Simi Valley restaurant when you’re trying to save money?

Believe it or not, eating out at a Simi Valley restaurant can actually save you a great deal of money, especially if you are not a person who plans their meals very well. Ideally, you should be making a weekly food menu and eating from it. Most people, however, are unable to do this, and so find themselves running to the grocery store every day in order to get foods. By eating at Simi Valley restaurants, you can actually save yourself money, especially if you order a combination meal for the entire family for supper. Check out the many different restaurants to eat at in Simi Valley, such as the Simi Valley pizza restaurants, and you’ll find one that is not only inexpensive, but delicious as well.

Simi Valley Restaurant – Focus On Palermo Italian Restaurant

August 29th, 2008

Every Friday we tell you about a Simi Valley restaurant we think you may want to take the time to check out this weekend. Today’s pick: Polermo Italian Restaurant.

There are a number of Simi Valley Italian restaurants to choose from, but the Palermo Italian Restaurant doesn’t pretend to be anything its not. It doesn’t have fancy, hard-to-pronounce dishes, but sticks with the classic Italian dishes that we’ve all heard of and grown up with. If you grew up anywhere near an Italian American family, you will recognize every dish on the menu, and will feel like collapsing when you see and smell the dishes once they hit your table.

Classic meals include Stuffed shells, Canelloni, Fettuccini Alfredo, Linguini and Red or Clear Clam Sauce and Gnoochi. You can also get veal in a number of dishes as well as many different pasta dishes and, of course, Chicken Marsala and Chicken Parmigiana. Feel like a pizza? No problem. Palermo’s can hook you up with the pizza of your choice. This is one Italian restaurant that has not only the dishes, but the atmosphere that everyone loves to find in a classic Italian restaurant.

Simi Valley Restaurants Spotlight On: Thai House

August 1st, 2008

Every Friday we focus on one Simi Valley restaurant that we believe you should try this weekend. This Friday we’re putting the spotlight on Thai House.

Some people just like to be different. They desire to have different style jewelry, an unusual car, and to have everything as unique as possible. These are the type of people who flock to Thai House. Everyone goes to a Simi Valley Chinese restaurant, but fewer know about the hidden gem known as Thai House. This restaurant focuses on serving delicious, classic Thai food with great customer service at a price you can afford.

Their appetizers include Vegetable Tempura, Fried Won Tons, or, if you’re in the mood for something a bit different, you can try the Calamari Rings. Won Ton Soup and Coconut Soup Chicken are some of the favorite soups during the winter months, but it is their entrees that really make your mouth water. Their Chow Mein, Spicy Fried Rice, Vegetable Delight, and Mongolian Beef are just some of the favored entrée dishes at Thai House, and the delicious delicacies are made even better by friendly service and a calm atmosphere. If you’re up for some Thai food, give Thai House a try this weekend!
