Simi Valley Restaurants: What’s Wrong with Pizza?

July 22nd, 2008

I’ve heard quite a few people complain about pizza lately, so I have to ask: what’s wrong with pizza? Among the complaints I’ve heard are:

“It’s so boring – everyone gets pizza.”

“You can only make it one way, and it all tastes pretty much the same.”

“Yeah, it’s cheap, but its so hard to figure out how much you need for how many people.”

Those who are against pizza obviously have not been to the right Simi Valley pizza restaurants!

We can all agree that there are tons of delicious Simi Valley restaurants hidden around the city that have a great amount to share with the world. What some don’t realize is that there are also a few hundred different ways that you can eat pizza at Simi Valley restaurants!

The thing is, each Simi Valley restaurant makes their own style of pizza, and most of them have a number of different types of pizza you can eat. So you could easily choose to eat a different slice of pizza every day of the month and never get the same taste twice. When you add in the fact that pizza is extremely inexpensive and can be delivered to your door, you’ve got a delicious meal that is sure to make everyone in the family (including your wallet) happy!

The Delicacies of Stove Oven Pizza at Simi Valley Restaurants

July 3rd, 2008

Many people believe that pizza is a casual food, and that it is not a delicacy. These people, however, have never had stone oven pizza. Pizza, or anything else, that is cooked in an electric oven has a specific taste to it, as does something that is cooked in a gas oven. A stone oven, however, creates a taste that is impossible to match, and is not only delicious, but is crispy and has a taste that no gourmet meal could ever equal.

When you’re looking at Simi Valley restaurants, the only place to get pizza and other delicacies cooked in a stone oven is at Stone Oven Pizza. This restaurant is so much more than just a pizza restaurant. At Stone Oven Pizza all of your meals are cooked in a genuine stone oven. The fire warms the bricks, and the warmth surrounds the pizza like nothing else can. The heat from the bricks cooks the pizza, or the lasagna, or anything else you’d like from their menu, until it is warm and bubbling and has a taste like nothing you’ve ever experienced at any Simi Valley restaurant before.

Other Cultures and Simi Valley Restaurant

July 2nd, 2008

Every culture is a little different, even if it is in the same country. For instance, living in California is much different than living in Maine. All aspects of life is different, from the amount you pay for a home, to the type of grass you grow, and even down to the type of food you eat. In lower California, food is often given a bit of a Spanish flair. In Maine, however, fresh fish and stews are often the meals that are served at dinner.

No matter where you live, however, chances are that you’ve heard of a New York Pizza. New York Pizza is unlike any other in the world, and even Simi Valley restaurants make it available for their patrons. Some pizza restaurants offer a genuine New York style pizza. One Simi Valley restaurant, Mama Pizza and Pasta, features a New York Style pizza that critics have raved over. The restaurant caters to young children, even cutting their slices smaller, and delivers as well, allowing you to save your money while still enjoying true New York style pizza. You can also get a variety of pasta and salad dishes.

Simi Valley Restaurants – Focus on Garlic Jim’s Famous Gourmet Pizza

June 6th, 2008

Every Friday we like to focus on one Simi Valley restaurant that we believe you may want to give a shot over the weekend. This Friday we’re staying away from the exotic restaurants like sushi restaurants and are getting back to something that is beloved by people around the world – pizza!

Tucked away in a little corner of Simi Valley is Garlic Jim’s Famous Gourmet Pizza. We’re not sure exactly what Jim did to earn the nickname “Garlic Jim” (but it is definitely something you can ask when you visit), but we do know that the food is something you won’t find anywhere else. Say goodbye to a plain old pepperoni pie and hello to gourmet pizza. In the mood for something hot? How about the Nutty Chipolte pizza, complete with spicy sausage, red onions, and cashews. Looking to please the kids as well as yourself? The Chicken Bacon Ranch pizza is topped with grilled chicken, bacon, cheddar cheese, tomatoes, red onions, and creamy ranch sauce. You can select from a huge selection of gourmet pizzas, or you can choose from the topping selections and have a custom pizza made exactly the way you’d like it.

bHungry.com has launched in Simi Valley

May 17th, 2008

On Thursday May 15th around 11:00pm, we launched bHungry.com.

From the beginning, our vision has always been to be the premiere restaurant directory featuring local restaurant menus, restaurant photos, restaurant videos, & restaurant reviews. We believe we’re on the right track and will continue to develop & improve your search for a great local restaurant.

Pizza, Chinese restaurants, Mexican restaurants, and Italian restaurants…what more could you ask for?

How about more restaurants?

Sure.

New Simi Valley restaurants will be added frequently. We will write an update of the new restaurants that are being added right here in the “News” section.

Here are 3 simple ways to help our local Simi Valley restaurants:

1. Call a restaurant on bHungry.com for Take-Out, Delivery, or to make Reservations.

2. Write a ‘Review’ for a restaurant that you have eaten at.

3. Rinse, then, Repeat Step 1.

When you order for Delivery, Take-Out, or make Reservations on bHungry.com, you will be feeding 2 families; yours and another family. And it costs you nothing extra! That’s right. For example, when you order a pizza from bHungry.com, we will donate a portion of our profits to our charitable partner, Children’s Hunger Fund (www.childrenshungerfund.com).

Isn’t that cool? You order food for your family & another family benefits!

Thanks for your support and may God bless you & your family!
