Dealing with Allergies
August 18th, 2008It seems like more people than ever are suffering from one allergy or another, which makes going out and enjoying dinner a bit difficult. After all, it’s hard to enjoy eating your meal when you’re concerned that the chef in the back used a peanut product and didn’t wash his hands before he started preparing your meal. If you’re looking to eat a meal at a Simi Valley restaurant, there are some things you can do to ensure that you have a safe meal.
1. Check the menu at bhungry.com. Here you can learn about what types of meals the chef at the restaurant makes, so you can be prepared ahead of time.
2. Talk to your waiter. Most waiters at Simi Valley restaurants are very willing to give you what you need. Explain to them your allergy and they’ll relay that message to the chef so that your dinner is delicious.
3. Be prepared just in case. The staff is always trying to make sure that you are safe, but accidents do occur. If you have a life-threatening allergy, make sure you have an epi pen with you, just in case.
